We take the protection of your data seriously. This website is built to work with as little personal data as possible: no cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no third-party fonts or embedded content.

No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.
2. Hosting and delivery
This website is served via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system information and the referrer URL, in order to deliver the site securely and reliably and to fend off attacks.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation).
- Data processing agreement: in place with Cloudflare.
- Transfers to third countries: data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR).
- Retention: log data is stored only briefly by Cloudflare and then deleted.
3. Contact form
When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, optionally organisation, topic and message) to answer your enquiry. The website itself does not store this data; it is forwarded to us directly as an email.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (enquiries related to a contract or pre-contractual steps) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future).
- Email delivery: we use Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA) as processor. Emails are sent through the service’s EU region (Ireland). Any transfer to the USA is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
- Retention: we delete your enquiry once it has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the form from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., see above) on the contact page. Turnstile checks technical characteristics of your browser (including IP address and browser information) to tell humans from bots. It sets no cookies and is not used for advertising or tracking. The script is loaded only on the contact page.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse).
- Transfers to third countries: see section 2.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.
5. Local storage in your browser
If you choose a colour scheme (light/dark) or a language, this setting is stored only locally in your browser (Local Storage) and is never sent to us. Storage is necessary for the service you explicitly request (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
FAQ assistant
The assistant (chat icon, bottom right) runs entirely in your browser. It uses no artificial intelligence and no server; what you type is never sent to us or any third party. The conversation is kept in session storage only for the current browser session, so it survives page changes, and is deleted automatically when you close the tab (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
6. Fonts
The fonts used (Inter, Poppins) are loaded from our own server. No connection is made to Google or any other font provider.
7. Links to other websites
We link to external services (e.g. LinkedIn, HTWK Leipzig). These are not embedded; data is only transferred if you click a link, in which case the provider’s privacy policy applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). Contact [email protected].
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.
9. Security
The website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS and uses strict security policies (including a Content Security Policy). No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
